Groups of up to 14 will find Pitcairn House works well for a shared break without anyone feeling cramped. Seven bedrooms spread across four floors mean everyone has their own space, while five bathrooms—one ensuite to each of the first four bedrooms, plus a shared shower room and separate toilet on the top floor—keep the mornings manageable. A generous kitchen with two fridges and a dishwasher sits alongside a dining room made for feeding a crowd, and a living room with a 55-inch television upstairs for quieter moments. The townhouse underwent refurbishment in 2026 with new carpets, double glazing and redecorated interiors. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; there is parking for two cars on site and more on the street outside.
Pitcairn House occupies a conservation area street in central Keswick, a short flat walk from the town's independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. As a Victorian building from 1892, it retains period character—the floors are uneven in places and multiple staircases connect the levels. A pub is within a mile. No smoking is permitted inside.
