We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Workshop. The whole place is just delightful. Full of charm and character and wonderful views. Sally and Tim were on hand if we needed anything but were never intrusive and left us to get on with our holiday in privacy. They provided us with everything we could possibly need and more! The welcome pack was fantastic and included fresh eggs from their hens. And ice for our G&Ts on the patio! We certainly plan to return as it’s a perfect base to come back to and relax after a long day of sightseeing. There is so much to do and see in and around Corbridge but we simply couldn’t fit it all in to 4 days. Can’t wait to be back!

We had such a lovely stay at The Old Workshop last week. It’s a beautiful little cottage — full of character but still light, calm and really comfortable. It feels thoughtfully put together without being overdone, and everything was spotless and well cared for. It was exactly the kind of place where you can properly switch off. Peaceful, cosy and restorative — we settled in straight away. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making it feel welcoming and easy to stay in. The food and drink on arrival was such a welcome touch. The location is great too — nice and quiet, but really handy for popping into Corbridge or Hexham. It struck the perfect balance between feeling tucked away and still being convenient. We’d absolutely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed break. 🤍

This was our second visit to the cottage. As always the quality of the cottage was fantastic all amenities are thought of. There is a playroom for young children which was very useful when my niece visited with her family. The beds are so comfortable and the bed linen/towels are top quality. The toiletries provided were lovely. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again as perfect location for seeing the area.

The Old Workshop has been a cosy haven with frost and light snow outside. The Woodburners and stock of logs was lovely. The property has been fitted out with the latest equipment and is absolutely immaculate. The hosts, Sally and Tim are very helpful and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Great coffee machine generously pre stocked and of course tea bags etc provided too. Bed linen was the best quality. we enjoyed visiting Vindolanda, Bamburgh, Corbridge itself and a day in Newcastle, which is really easy by train. The nearby restaurants are great.
