Quietways

Quietways is a detached bungalow that has been substantially refurbished, with a bright conservatory and a practical layout spread across two floors. The ground floor holds a living room, dining room, and a newly fitted kitchen with full appliances for cooking and cleaning up. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are also on this level, alongside a separate toilet. Upstairs, the third bedroom comes with its own ensuite shower room. The property sleeps six across beds that include one kingsize and four singles. Heating, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all provided; one well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

Outside, an enclosed gravelled garden with furniture sits to the rear, and the drive accommodates three cars. The bungalow stands within walking distance of Derwentwater, where water sports and outdoor activities are based, and a footpath through fields reaches Keswick in about an hour and a half on foot. Local peaks including Skiddaw, Grizedale Pike and Cat Bells frame the surrounding landscape and draw walkers and cyclists. A shop, restaurant and pub all sit within a couple of minutes' walk. Smoking is not permitted inside.
