Riverbank Cottage sits on the banks of the River Greta, backing onto Fitz Park. The ground floor opens into a living room with a woodburner and a separate kitchen-dining space; upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The enclosed rear garden has raised decking, garden furniture and a barbecue. One car can park on site, and one dog stays free. The cottage has spiral stairs and some narrow sections.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Both bedrooms have televisions; the first has a kingsize bed, while the second is a zip-and-link that can be configured as two singles on request. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; logs for the wood burner are available locally. A cot, highchair and stairgate can be provided if needed.
Keswick town centre is 400 yards away. Fitz Park, accessible by footbridge, has an enclosed play area and cricket pitch, with Skiddaw and Latrigg visible from the grounds. The riverside location suits those wanting to explore the fells or fish nearby. No smoking throughout.

A very well appointed cottage. Pleasant outlook. Only 10 min walk across the fields on paths to Pooley Bridge.

Nothing was wrong and everything was right with this cosy, comfy and delightfully situated cottage, on a working farm just outside Pooley Bridge village. Our second Christmas holiday here was made special by a large decorated tree, seasonal ornaments and trimmings, and a welcoming bottle of port! Highly recommended!
