Absolutely loved the location and our stay here. Will definitely recommend and come back. Super clean, comfy beds, great shower, filling breakfast. Close to a park I took my little one, minutes walk to town and pencil museum. No fridge, amenities were basic but we aren’t bothered by that. It had everything we needed. Ev charge not far, great private parking. Quiet and an absolute delight!

Great location, friendly owners and comfortable rooms. Had great views acorde the mountains. Would recommend to stay here if you are visiting the Lake District.

Very rude greeting from owner. She made us feel very uncomfortable. Upon leaving, we seen the owner banging someone’s car whilst screaming at the driver. Awful experience.

Great guest house within a short 5 mins walk to the town centre. It is up a slight sloped road and there are four steep steps to get in with the usual stairs up. So no good for anyone with mobility issues. Room were spotlessly clean and a lovely full English breakfast. Small TV that didn't work though. Overall a good place for a short stay
