A beautiful 1700s estate! Our guide Wendy gave an amazing your of the residence (which is the only way to go inside). We learned a lot about the building, the history and got to see many amazing historical works for art, furniture and more. Highly recommend if you have an hour to go in the tour. Otherwise the site is a great spot for a walk around the property, a stop at the stable cafe or what looked to be a great play place for the kids in Wee Hailes

Went to this park today for a walk, I think it's mostly for dog walkers and the play area for kids, otherwise there are better parks for walking. It's currently very muddy on the paths. There are snowdrops and other flowers coming out the ground in some places. Not much else to see unless you book a tour of the house. I would not come back, the only good part is the Cafe, the caramel donut was the best part of the visit.

What a beautiful place! So much to do and there's something for everyone. We visited first and the variety of food was brilliant. Although I'm not vegan or veggie they had all the bases covered. Food was delicious! My son and brother in-law went to the kids play park which they thoroughly enjoyed an then played a round of crazy golf while I did a tour round the house with my sister. The house was insane!!! Booking a tour is a must!! The lovely lady that held the tour was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to listen to. I will attach some photos but they honestly don't do the place justice. I will be returning to do a ghost tour later in the year. The grounds are about to undergo some landscaping which is very exciting. Also perfect for people with dogs and the lady told me about dog shows that they have on throughout the year so I will also be attending that! Definitely a 5 star for me and my family. We can't wait to return!!

A beautiful historic house with elegant architecture, fascinating interiors, and a rich history spanning several centuries. The surrounding woodland and parkland provide a peaceful setting for a walk, making it just as enjoyable outside as it is inside. Whether you're interested in history, heritage, or simply exploring the grounds, it's a wonderful place to visit and well worth seeing if you're in East Lothian
