Lovely staff on reception and at breakfast. Perfectly good Premier Inn for a reasonable price. Free parking. AC in all the rooms. Small breakfast room. Theg managed fine. Just book if you want breakfast. The breakfast is good but, it might seem expensive unless you are travelling with children.

Best Premier Inn I've ever visited! 😁 Staff so helpful and friendly- at reception and also at breakfast, which is taken in a breakfast room (clean, efficient and fresh), rather than at some dated dark dirty Brewers Fayre type place! Very convenient location next to motorway, railway station, retail park (with a fine selection of eateries) and also a Bannatynes gym with pool. Beds and showers tip top, as always at Premier Inns 😎

We arrived by car so decided on the Newcraighall location as it offers free and easy parking. It is also very well linked to the city centre via bus and train, and is close to the City Bypass. The team was lovely and helpful. The room was spacious and tidy even if not too fancy (which didn't bother us at all!). There is a pub just next door and plenty of food choices in the nearby retail park which is only 5 minute walk. Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind staying at the Edinburgh outskirts.

Ok, I thought ( after reading other reviews). It was going to be a nightmare, but……. Other than the breakfast room which was very small ( because it was right in the middle of the rush hour ). Everything else work fine , AC worked , parking worked, room was great, a small walk away is the railway station, we booked a return for 2 adults and 2 kids for just under £13 !!!! Down sides …. View out of the room was of a blank wall! Not good, especially considering the cost. The lift was broken ( thankfully we were on 2nd floor ) breakfast on the 1sr day (rush hour ) was terrible, people being turned Away, food was missing or had to be waited for/ ……. All that sounds bad, but locations is key. Personally, drop an amount per night and it works.
