Corwen sits at the gateway to serious walking country. The Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway runs alongside this converted Victorian station master's house, and from here you can reach the Dee Valley's footpaths within minutes. Llangollen itself—famous for the International Musical Eisteddfod and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct—is close enough for a day trip, while Snowdonia National Park spreads across the horizon to the south. Chirk Castle and Erddig are both within reach if you want to venture beyond the immediate area.

Station House has three bedrooms sleeping six, with a bathroom on the first floor. Downstairs, the living and dining rooms both have working open fires, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer all here. Bed linen, Wi-Fi and heating are included. You get parking on site and an enclosed garden. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The building is yours alone, and checkout is a civilised 10am rather than an early morning scramble.

A pub and restaurant are half a mile away; the nearest shop is three miles. No smoking indoors.
