Rock Cottage is a stone-built Victorian property spread over three floors in Bakewell, with everything you need for a self-catering stay. The ground floor holds a kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine, plus a dining area. Upstairs, a sitting room with smart TV opens onto views across the market town, and the top floor bedroom is a double with an en-suite shower room. One car can park on site, and the cottage sits on a slight slope above the town centre.
Essentials are included: mains electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi. The front garden has seating. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost. No smoking indoors. A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask when booking.
Bakewell town centre—cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants—is a short walk downhill, though the return journey is uphill. The Peak District offers Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the Monsal Trail, Thornbridge Brewery and Ashford-in-the-Water within reach. A pub is within a mile of the property.
