Rock Terrace View is a Victorian terraced cottage spread across three floors, with the character and proportions of its age intact. Two steps lead to the entrance, opening into a ground-floor sitting room warmed by a gas fire, where you can settle in with the television. The kitchen occupies the first floor, fitted with an electric oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher; there is a dining table positioned to frame views of the surrounding landscape. A bathroom with shower over the bath is also on this level. The bedroom sits on the second floor, furnished with a super kingsize bed and fresh linen.
Bakewell town centre is a short walk downhill, where independent shops, bakeries, cafés and pubs cluster around the famous pudding shops and riverside. Chatsworth House lies nearby. Walkers have immediate access to the Monsal Trail from the town itself, and numerous other routes through the Peak District are within reach by car. A parking permit for one vehicle is provided. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included in your stay. The property does not permit smoking.
