Rock Mews sits in central Bakewell, a market town in the Derbyshire Dales surrounded by limestone valleys and moorland. The house commands views across the rooftops towards the golf course and Manners Wood, with the River Wye visible from the upper floors. This is walking country—the Pennine Way passes nearby, and Haddon Hall and Chatsworth are within reach.
The property spreads across four floors and sleeps eight. The lower ground floor has a games room; the ground floor contains a full kitchen with dining space in the conservatory, plus a separate sitting room with an electric fire. Upstairs are four bedrooms: two doubles on the first floor (one with its own shower room), and two more doubles on the second floor, one with dual aspect and views towards the river. Two bathrooms between them—one with a bath and separate shower cubicle. The house is yours alone, with parking for four cars on site and an electric vehicle charging point. Essentials including Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are covered. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside. The garden has a patio and furniture, though there are three steps down to it.
