About Beech Tree Farm
Wild swimming, cycling, hiking or horse riding down lush Devon lanes – Dartmoor National Park surrounds this peaceful farm meadow site, complete with a copse of mature trees and a natural firepit at its heart. A vintage army mess tent provides communal space for cooking and relaxing, while a converted railway carriage houses two loos, two hot showers, phone charging and washing-up facilities. With only a handful of pitches, there's ample room for kids to roam and well-behaved dogs to stretch their legs (livestock on the farm means stag and hen parties aren't welcome).
The approach is beautifully hidden, passing Blackingstone Tor en route. Moretonhampstead is a 10-minute drive for pubs, restaurants and shops – including a butcher, greengrocer and zero-waste store, all championing locally sourced produce.

Really lovely quiet campsite on Dartmoor. Loads of space to pitch tents, the toilets and showers were clean and well kept. The communal mess tent is a welcome addition, gave the kids more space to enjoy. The owners are welcoming and friendly, keen to help. So much beautiful wilderness to explore, beautiful woods, reservoirs and rivers all around.

Just had an absolutely brilliant stay, we had 8 tents of families staying for a 50th birthday, whole site to ourselves, Well looked after tidy site, showers were clean and hot, toilets were clean and tidy. Dishwashing area on side of shower building Added bonus was the 1950 Army mess tent to use for gatherings or wet weather Also a fire pit to use. Huge field with plenty of space for games Lovey scenic local area with reservoirs in walking distance. We will definitely be going back

Best campsite in the UK! Stayed here for 3 days. Owners are the most kindest loveliest people you will ever meet, campsite was beautiful and quiet, had all the facilities you could ask for, showers, toilets cooking and washing station and everything was absolutely spotless! Views from the tent was breathtaking and walking distance from kennick tottiford and trenchford resovior, 3 massive lakes in a huge forest. Brilliant for fishing or even just a nice scenic walk you will not get better views and all kinds of fish in there some absolute monsters too. Whole trip honestly didnt feel real was like being in heaven for me highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon!

A stunning and secluded campsite on Dartmoor, perfect for families and small groups of friends. Would highly recommend! Lots of lovely things to do nearby, like horse riding, hiking and wild swimming. Very high quality facilities too.
