Fishleigh Barton sits on a working farm with sweeping views over the Taw Valley, run by owners who are motorhomers themselves and understand what makes a stay special. Expect a properly rural feel rather than manicured perfection – this is a genuine farm where deer and buzzards are regular visitors, and a stroll down the lane to the River Taw might reward you with kingfishers or herons. The hot shower runs on clever solar thermal tech (the team are happy to explain how it works), and there's a dog walking area plus all the essentials including mains water, flushing toilets and chemical disposal.

Middle of nowhere site. Sloping pitch on edge of crop field. Levelling blocks supplied on side of pitch. Basic but clean facilities in farmhouse courtyard.

After booking we had a lovely text first thing in the morning with our pitch allocation and directions along with an email, After arriving the staff met us in the feild to show us our pitch After realising our eclectic hook up was to short I asked to move pitch and they said yes and moved us to another pitch closer to electric port The man game me some leveling blocks to level the van and helped me on to them and made sure everything was perfect for our stay Very happy with the service and the staff went above and beyond I will definitely be returning when I do my next trip away Thanks very much from Craig and Stacey

I can't rate the rooms as its a campsite. However it is set in a beautiful quiet location on a working farm. Dogs are welcome and there is a large dog walking field on the site and a stunning river walk across the lane. There are flushing toilets, solar showers, dish washing facilities and a fridge and freezer available to use. Very good rates to stay with drinking water available at several points. Emma and her team are extremely welcoming and friendly, she sent us an email with a map of the site. Blocks and ramps available to help level up the camper if using one. Tents and campers welcome. Will be back.

Good location, not far from the beach, or Exmoor and South Molton. Dogs allowed, and there is a huge dog exercise field. Owners are very friendly, and facilities are very clean. Check out is midday too, which means there's plenty of time to get packed up when you leave.
