About Leeford Farm Riverside Camping

Leeford Farm Riverside Camping sits on the edge of Lynton in North Devon, a small Victorian resort village perched above the coast. The campsite itself offers direct access to the river, making it an unusual spot for a working farm campground. Pitches come with shower facilities on site.

Lynton lies at the top of the cliffs overlooking Lynmouth, a steep coastal village down in the valley below; the two are connected by a cliff railway. The area is on the edge of Exmoor National Park, with moorland walks and coastal paths within easy reach. Lynton's high street has pubs, cafés and shops, and the Valley of Rocks—a dramatic landscape of sandstone cliffs and boulders—is just up the road. The coast itself, including beaches and dramatic rock formations, is accessible via the cliff railway or a walk down through the woods to Lynmouth.

Lovely family site, children didn’t ask for their iPads all weekend. Back to nature weekend with camp fires, paddling in the stream, and lots of games. Ray was super friendly thanks for a fantastic weekend we will definitely be coming back to this site

A brilliant weekend spent here and so close to wonderful countryside and the sea. Ray is a top bloke and very friendly and helpful too. We will definitely be visiting again as the whole family loved it - unspoilt but enough facilities to make it work for us all from aged 4- 60+ thank you !

A lovely level well drained campsite with a river to one side. The toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. Dogs and fires allowed and Ray brings bags of wood to your tents and supplies fire baskets, there’s also a communal fire pit. Picnic tables and electric hook ups are also on site. The stream is accessible down a steepish bank and Herons can sometimes be seen. Prices are very reasonable. We had a great weekend camping and it was quite wet but we still had a lovely stay and Ray was very helpful and friendly.

Great small and clean camp site with free showers; there's also a freezer and fridge- no need to book for solo motorbikes.Great location for exploring Exmoor and even Dartmoor by motorbike (4 days stay).12 mins walk to the pub .Just be aware if your bike is loaded that the roads leading down to the site are 25% decent but no real problem particularly if coming in from the B3223.Ray ,the owner is a great character and very helpful.
