Orchard Lodge Camping

Gosh, what an idyllic gem! The fire pit and logs really took it to another level for us, and having a picnic table in the side with a pop-up umbrella made it so cosy and all weather friendly ! Rebecca and Barry came down and settled us in and we're just lovely people 💜 There's a pond to hang out at, the toilet and shower facilities are really classy and fridge/powerpoint available to use at the sink area - really everything we needed was accounted for! Couldn't recommend more highly, this place was a slice of heaven, we stayed an extra night then soak it up x Hope to see you again! G & M

Our stay at this lovely cabin was absolutely perfect. Nestled in a peaceful, tranquil setting, it offered stunning views in every direction — the kind that make you instantly relax. At the bottom of the orchard, there’s a beautiful little stream and a serene lake, creating the most calming background sounds. We spent hours just sitting outside, taking it all in. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to comfy blankets and even little touches that made it feel like home. It struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to unwind, reconnect with nature, and fully recharge, this cabin is an absolute gem. We’re already planning our next visit.

Beautiful location, unbeatable views and the perfect retreat for R&R. The Hideaway Cabin is so cosy but still very spacious. Super comfortable double bed, lovely shower/bathroom and an adorable kitchen area to make breakfast, complete with table & chairs to sit at. Either inside looking at the views, or outside with nothing but nature around you! Absolutely recommend this place if you are feeling burnt out, need to get away from the busy city, or just prefer some peace and quiet. We spent all day playing guitar, writing songs and then stargazed at night, huddled in front of the fire pit, it was exactly what we needed and we will definitely be back! A huge thanks to Rachel & Barry for looking after us so well and ensuring everything was as perfect as can be! We arrived to a complimentary bottle apple juice made with apples from their orchard (we immediately finished it all and then bought another!) as well as homemade scones, jam & clotted cream, a true Devon welcome. All their hard work really paid off and left us with a holiday we will remember forever!

Wow what a beautiful find. I spent 2 nights here wanting to have a peaceful getaway to refresh and unwind and it delivered everything and more I could have wanted. From the location and views to the accommodation and the facilities, everything was just perfect. Rachel was so helpful through the stay and before, answering all my queries and providing the extras required. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated with everything and more I could have wanted. I will definitely be going back, and I can't recommend this cabin enough. Thanks Rachel and Barry for providing something so perfect :-)”
