What visitors say
Great location when cycling the Hebridean Way. Good facilities which are clean. Indoor area to sit if the weather turns and you don't want to sit in your tent. Basic kitchen but there is a microwave and kettle. Great views of the dunes and the beach.

A great campsite: well-spaced grass pitches at different levels for a mix of tents and Campervans who don’t require EHU. Suggest you bring levelling ramps for some pitches. Toilet and wash facilities are clean - maybe not as spacious as other sites - but with disabled loos too. The real bonus for this location are the beach and the views. The beach is golden and shallow so makes for a fine (if cold) swim, with views across to the mountains of Harris. There is the facility to book wheelchair access to the beach.

Stayed here during my bicycle trip. Cheap basic campsite with a lot of free room for tents with fantastic views of the ocean. The shower is paid which is a downside. Small indoor area where you can do dishes, use microwave and charge a phone. For 10£ per night for one tent it is worth it though. Note that it's a very open area which can be windy. Ground is easy for pegs though.

Fantastic location, well maintained and good size pitches and short distance to the most amazing beach. However the facilities are very basic. Washing up facilities perfectly adequate but the shower arrangements are not really acceptable in this day and age. The only thing separating you from those using the other bathroom facilities is a shower curtain. You need lockable doors not a shower curtain - hence my 3 stars. Also you get coach tours stopping here throughout the day and using the toilets so cleanliness can suffer as a result. But the price reflects this I guess. I do think £3 to use the toilet waste disposal is a bit steep.

Campers praise the campsite's amazing location directly on a stunning beach with excellent views, and appreciate the good showers and dishwashing stations. They also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, alongside the reasonable prices.
Some reviews mention the facilities can be poorly maintained.
