The beaches around Harris are worth the journey alone—Luskentyre, Scarista and Horgabost all lie within reach of Post Office Lodge, a converted former post office in the village of Finsbay. The lodge sits a mile from the coast, and its position makes it a genuine base for exploring rather than somewhere to sleep between outings. The Mission House Studio and other cultural spots are nearby; seal spotting happens regularly in the waters offshore.
The whole property is yours: a single bedroom with a double bed, ensuite shower room, and an open-plan kitchen and living space on the ground floor. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave—while the living area has a Freeview Smart TV and views across the bay. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with a welcome pack. One small dog can stay free of charge.
Ground-floor access, on-site parking for one car, and no smoking throughout. Arrive after 4pm, depart by 10am.
