One night stay, lovely little campsite. It is a field so there is eleven ground and it is a little rustic but you can choose your own pitch. Couple who run it were lovely. Showers and toilets all kept clean, quiet site and beautiful location with The Smugglers Inn just down the road 15 min walk.

Absolutely gorgeous location, with friendly and efficient owners. Spoke initially to Ross with whom I booked our visit for our kids extended family get-together. Very simple set up which is perfect for families and all visitors. Clean and well maintained ablutions block. The owners have a tiny "shop" selling essentials and hot drinks which are very welcome. Will DEFINITELY come back again and again.

What a little treat this was ! Came away for the May half term and what a blast we all had. Flat rate per night, pitch yourself where ever you please and enjoy. Grass was a smidge long (but given the recent weather, we expected this) however this wasn’t going to stop us, it gave us a little extra cushion under the tent and helped slow down our escaping toddlers. The wild flowers among the grass also provided entertainment and enjoyment for the older children too. Hot showers and toilets, both cleaned multiple times a day by the lovely owners. The washroom block is dated but we had no concerns over cleanliness, and for £18 a night, was an absolute bargain!!!!! Side note, the loo roll provided is a lovely touch and was a high quality too. One thing that really stood out was the relaxed atmosphere. We’ve stayed on other sites where it’s very regimented - you must pitch in a particular spot, you must face your tent a certain way, you must be in exactly the right place. Here is completely different. You can literally pitch anywhere you please, in whichever direction suits you. Might sound like something small but this little bit of freedom really does start the holiday off on a positive note. Absolute gem of a place and we will certainly be back. Perfect spot for some back to basic camping! Highly recommended, the proximity to Weymouth and surrounding areas makes it the perfect base camp.
