Just come back from our first stay at Osmington Mills and is was a fantastic. Our dog friendly lodge was amazing . It was clean and tidy large accommodation with a hot tub. The staff were so helpful pleasant from reception to maintenance. Beautiful surroundings lovely quiet and relaxing Had meals in the Country Club which were delicious especially the Sunday lunch. Very happy with our stay and looking to book for 2027. Thank you to you all at Osmington and we hope to see you soon.

We stayed in a lodge called Kingfisher 10, which is a luxury lodge enjoying one of the best positions on the park. We came to the same one 2 years ago, and liked it enough to return. However, this trip coincided with the hottest June week on record, so the extreme heat was a major issue. Other lodges had sunshades but we couldn't find one in Kingfisher 10. No fans were provided either, so we went into Weymouth and purchased 2 fans and 2 parasols with bases. We had enquired with reception in case maybe the owner was concerned for our comfort and might like to provide the equipment we were forced to buy ourselves. There had been a parasol here last time we stayed, so it was strange. At £1,600 for the week, asking for a £50 parasol was surely a reasonable expectation. However, the answer came back from the owner saying they did have a parasol for themselves but it was 'locked away because people break them'. So that was that. The new people coming in after us will have struggled. We wasted a day of our holiday shopping for these items and then took it all home afterwards. Such a shame, as Waterside staff are wonderful and could not have done more to help. It is down to the individual owner of a lodge to provide these items, and each lodge is different. Just a warning to thoroughly check the details of what is included, and do not assume the owner really cares whether or not you're comfortable. Highly recommend Waterside Osmington for the location and friendly service overall, but very difficult to overlook what happened to us this week. Perhaps we'll try one of the other lodges next time.

Very nice location. However certain things needed updating in the lodge , for example the bath. It needs a non slip base on the bath as well as a bath mat because there could be an accident. Nether the less with a few alteration it could enhance the place. Thank you
