Osmington sits in rolling Dorset countryside between the inland villages and the UNESCO-listed cliffs that define this stretch of coast. The Old Milking Parlour occupies a working farm on the edge of the village, giving you open fields to one side and a walkable community to the other—a mile's walk or short drive brings you to the Jurassic Coast's dramatic geology and the South West Coast Path. For those wanting to explore on foot, the trails here connect coastal clifftop routes with quieter inland walking through farmland and villages.
The converted barn sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double downstairs with an adjacent shower room, a kingsize upstairs with a sofa bed suitable for children, and a twin room. Upstairs also has a full bathroom with bath and shower. The main living space combines a sitting room and dining area on the ground floor, where a wood-burning stove provides warmth. The kitchen is fitted for real cooking—electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. There is a washing machine in the outbuilding, and the enclosed garden has a lawn, seating and a barbecue. Parking for three cars sits on the property.
The village itself has a pub and village amenities; nearby Osmington Mills and beaches such as Ringstead Bay and Bowleaze Cove lie within easy reach for a sea swim or casual afternoon out. No smoking throughout.

This cottage is perfect!! Set in the owners working farm, they allowed us use of unoccupied fields to exercise our dogs. The cottage itself has everything you need & of a high standard! They have a livery behind & in front of the cottage, so you do get horses passing by but it's only for a short period of time. Well set for walks & short drives to some lovely points of interest. I'd love to go back at some point in time.

A great "out the way" location but which is only a short drive to Weymouth. Set on a working farm and livery, the self catering accommodation is spacious, clean and very well equipped. It makes the perfect base for exploring Dorset and the wider area, has easy access to cliff top and ridge top walking. After a busy day out and about it's secluded garden is perfect for relaxation, then settle in for a comfortable evenings rest in the lounge.
