Poirot Cottage is one of several individually owned properties within a converted barn complex near Lyme Regis, set among rolling farmland with direct access to countryside footpaths. The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms: a kingsize on the ground floor, two singles upstairs, and a third single bedroom. Two bathrooms serve the property—one ensuite to the upper bedroom with bath and shower, one shower room downstairs. A conservatory with electric woodburner opens from the main living space, which includes a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, dining area and sitting room with television and Netflix.
The grounds are shared with other properties on-site and include a pond; there is parking for one car. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are all covered. The cottage accepts children and provides a travel cot and highchair on request, as well as a stairgate if needed. Smoking is not permitted. About a mile from Lyme Regis itself, the cottage sits at the start of numerous walking routes—the Dorset Coastal Path lies half a mile away, and a riverside walk connects directly to the harbour and town centre. A 25-minute downhill walk through fields reaches Lyme Regis; by car it is four minutes.

Lovely holiday cottages in a tranquil location. The cottage was really clean and comfortable and it made a great base to explore the Dorset coast. It was a nice and relatively short walk into Lyme Regis, and the park and ride carpark was conveniently nearby if you didn't feel like walking back up the hill. It was lovely to sit in the garden in the morning and listen to the birds (we even saw a green woodpecker from our window!)

Lovely, quiet holiday location. 20 minute downhill walk to Lyme Regis (uphill on way back takes a little longer but there's also a bus stop nearby), meaning no parking or time issues by the sea. Also easy drive to nearby seaside resorts such as Beer and Charmouth.

Lovely cottage, clean and homely with great facilities. Beautiful view and lovely little garden area with pond. A quiet spot that was just what we needed. Really enjoyed our stay would definitely return.

Coppers' Cottages is a small group of holiday cottages situated off the main road but readily accessible. You will need a car. We stay at Poirot Cottage, it is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Ideally placed for a quiet retreat, a family holiday or for exploring the Jurassic Coastline. The conservatory overlooks Hole Common which is a large woodland and common area being right on your door-step. You are only a few minutes drive from Lyme Regis which is well worth exploring on foot. A welcoming and busy sea side resort. We think this is a special find.
