Gardener’s Cottage

Gardener's Cottage suits couples and families of four looking for a countryside base with direct access to beaches and fossil sites. The single-storey layout keeps everything on one level: a combined living and dining space with a 55" smart TV, a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals, two bedrooms (one double, one with singles), and a shower room. Essentials including Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels come as standard.

The cottage sits within grounds shared with other properties—22 acres of lawns, woodland and gardens, plus a games room with pool and table tennis, fishing in an on-site pond, and a tennis court. You have your own patio with furniture and a barbecue. A utility room with washing machines and tumble dryers serves the site. The setting is rural Dorset countryside, but the Jurassic Coast is within easy reach for days out exploring beaches and hunting fossils. Nearby villages have pubs and local food producers. There's parking on site, a bike store, and the owners live on the property if you need anything during your stay. The cottage does have two internal steps to be aware of, and a fenced stream and lake sit 100 yards away in the grounds. No smoking indoors.
