Greenbanks

Greenbanks suits families and larger groups needing space to spread out. Four bedrooms across two floors sleep up to nine, each with its own bathroom, and a day bed in the fourth room gives flexibility for younger children. The ground floor has an open-plan living and dining area with a fireplace and French doors opening onto a terrace; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts. A highchair is available, and the laundry room (with its own fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer) means you can manage without constant trips to the shops.
The property sits on Chesil Beach along the coastal path, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest where the wildlife and plants draw naturalists and walkers. You're genuinely remote—the last house on a narrow track—yet West Bexington's pub is a 20-minute coastal walk away, and Abbotsbury's subtropical gardens are within reach on foot. Weymouth and Dorchester are roughly 10 miles off for days out. The sea views are uninterrupted, and the lawned garden has a barbecue and sitting-out areas. One dog stays free. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered; initial fuel for the open fire is included. No smoking indoors. There are three steps in the garden.
