Clever as toast

An immaculate accommodation . Comfortable and Quintessentially British, which is a refreshing change to the soulless premier inns etc . Not enough is said of locally owned b&b’s and how wonderful they are . My host was so nice and cooked a cracking breakfast . They had plenty of parking , chickens roaming and famous geese’s . If I return to Abbottsbury , I’ll be sure to stay here again . Rob London Stayed (June 12th- 14th)

Lovely setting and room but the poor land lady can hardly walk. Perhaps should hand the business on. Breakfast is 8.30 sharp with no provision at all for even a piece of toast if you want to leave early to explore. Such a history this place must tell but nothing more to add than what is on google

Beautiful location, very quirky old farm house with old school fun decorations. The rooms were clean and tidy, the host was lovely and unlike other reviewers mentioned, she did not put me sausage and bacon when I said I didn't want it. Just beware they like their guests back before 10 pm and breakfast schedule is quite strict at 8:30, but it's a wonderful homemade breakfast.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor is quite intense and very old fashioned but I found it quirky and interesting. Found the host a little unfriendly and she repeatedly asked us if we wanted sausages and bacon at breakfast despite telling her several times we are veggie. She also didn’t provide gf bread despite being given advanced notice. Breakfast was 8.30 - 9am which worked well for us but be warned if you are on a different schedule. It was overall a memorable and fun experience but not necessarily for the faint hearted!
