Lavender Cottage works well for couples or small families wanting to be right in the heart of Lyme Regis rather than tucked away in the countryside. The two bedrooms—one with twin beds, one double—and two bathrooms mean no queuing in the mornings. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining space with French doors onto the enclosed garden, where you can sit out and catch the sun through the afternoon and evening. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and everything else down to the microwave.
Walking to the beach takes a few minutes; the town centre shops and cafes are equally close. Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is nearby if you have children interested in the Jurassic Coast. One well-behaved dog can come along at no extra cost. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, and there's on-road parking. The property is non-smoking. You arrive after 4pm and leave by 10am.

Lavendar cottage was absolutely perfect for us and our dinosaur mad 7 year old. It has lots of character but has all the modern touches you want. Really great location with everything walkable and a bonus to have free parking a stone’s throw away. Mark was lovely and very helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

We had a great time staying at Lavender Cottage hosted by Mark. The cottage is quite comfortable and spacious with a central location in Lyme Regis. Mark was quite helpful and responsive and easily accessible. I would definitely stay at his locations if back in the future.

Perfect location—just a short walk to the beach, and the parking permit was a huge bonus for free parking. Mark was excellent to communicate with and very responsive to anything we needed. The only thing to be aware of is the low ceilings (watch your head!). Highly recommend!

Close to beach. A cute cottage, which had modern amenities in a quaint cottage type building. Close to all town services at lyme regis. Would stay again!
