The Old Stone House

The Old Stone House spreads across three floors, and you arrive directly into the living room—a space built around an open fire, with smart TV and comfortable seating. One step down leads to the dining room, where French doors open onto an enclosed rear garden with patio furniture. The kitchen sits adjacent, equipped for proper cooking with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the basics; exposed stonework and period features run throughout, a legacy of the building's 17th-century origins as a stone cutter's yard and later police station.

Upstairs, the first floor holds two king-size bedrooms. One has its own ensuite shower, and a washing machine is tucked into the space. The family bathroom on this floor includes a bath with shower and heated towel rail. A second flight reaches the top floor, where a third bedroom contains a double and a single bed. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The property sleeps seven and welcomes one pet at no extra cost. There is no smoking inside.

Swanage town centre lies within walking distance, with beaches and coastal walks directly accessible. An enclosed garden and nearby on-road parking are provided; a large drop-down kerb helps with loading and unloading. Four steps lead to the entrance, and five more are in the garden.
