What visitors say
Located right below the iconic Wallace Monument, Causewayhead Play Park is a lovely spot for families with a fantastic range of equipment to keep kids entertained, including classic swings, a great slide, a challenging climbing rope frame, and a brilliant flying fox. There is also an accessible wheelchair swing on-site, though it requires a key to use. A sign used to indicate that the key could be collected from the chip shop down the road, but that sign has since been removed, so it is worth checking ahead if you need access. The absolute main pro for this park is the inclusion of free public toilets, which is a massive plus for parents. However, the park itself is starting to show its age and definitely needs a little TLC, and the bins in particular are in desperate need of a really good clean. Overall, it is a brilliant community asset with excellent facilities and a beautiful scenic backdrop, it just needs a small amount of maintenance to bring it back to its best.

The park was beautiful with a fantastic view of the Wallace Monument. We were there just for 10 minutes before we had to leave. There were some young people who were sitting on the picnic benches smoking (cannabis). This completely spoilt my visit to the park. I will hopefully go back again and this time be able to enjoy my visit without that pungent smell.

There is no car park just off street parking. It's not the biggest of parks but there is a lot of play equipment from zip slide, Climbing net, small football/backetball court etc. There is toilets located here. There are benches and picnic tables.
