About The Old Tram-House Apartments
Step into one of the four rooms at The Old Tram-House Apartments and the first thing you notice is the period character: original features from the building's 19th-century stone construction sit alongside frilly, traditional Victorian decor. It won't suit anyone after minimalist styling, but for guests who like a proper old-fashioned B&B feel, the rooms deliver plenty of charm.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar on site, along with breakfast each morning, and free WiFi throughout. Meeting rooms are available for those combining a stay with work, and luggage storage is on hand for early arrivals or late departures. Free on-site parking makes it a straightforward base for anyone travelling by car.
The property sits on Causewayhead Road in Stirling, with Stirling University nearby as a local point of interest, and the town centre itself around 1.42 miles away. It's a practical, characterful option for exploring Stirling without needing to rely on public transport.
What guests say
Although the apartment had plenty of room and was comfortable enough we didn't feel welcome. There was no welcome book with information about the property - how to access the heating, how to operate appliances or where to find the instructions, local recommendations etc - just a few random tourist attraction advertising pamphlets but not even one for Stirling Castle! We would have appreciated some milk -even uht milk - in the fridge when we arrived so we could at least have a cup of tea before shopping for supplies. Lots of emphasis on what not to do, and what would happen if we broke anything - lots of notes up with warnings on them. The wifi password on their sticker was incorrect - luckily it was recorded elsewhere and we found the error. Not the usual hospitality we've come to expect from these accommodations. We wouldn't choose to stay here again.

This would have to be the nicest apartment we have stayed in. Very comfortable and so clean! There were so many extras provided eg: air fryer, spices tea, coffee biscuits plus more. The host was very responsive. We would 100% recommend this property to everyone and its in a great location.

We stayed here for a few nights, Stirling is a lovely city and the Tram House is in a really nice location, the place was comfortable enough, I had checked pics before booking but it is a lot tackier style wise in reality, trying to look classy but with tasteless ornaments and OTT bling, it all felt a bit cheap which the price certainly wasn't, not really a complaint as such just not the type of place we'd choose again, but if bold and cheap is your thing, this is the place to go! Not much welcoming information, so it felt a bit of a cold vibe
