What visitors say
Had a wonderful second visit here. The guides are what really make the visits here so special, with their stories of the amazing people who worked here. So much of what took place will never really be known or understood, but we know that their work contributed hugely to the decisions made during the wars, and we thank them for their dedication and discretion. If you are interested in history, in human lives, in puzzle-solving, etc. then this is your place to visit. The National Radio Museum and a chat with the lovely gents who volunteer there are a must-visit too.

We spent over 6 hours here so it's easy to get your money's worth. They're was so much to see. Book a guided tour. I can't believe these volunteers give so much! Thanks Nick for an entertaining tour. As a chemistry graduate and retired maths lecturer and my retired engineer partner, we enjoyed the nod to STEM.

I thoroughly enjoyed my romp through Bletchley Park. I would give myself at least half a day for a visit. A day if you want to read all the plaques. The self guided tour is nice, but the live guides are much better. Highly recommend it for history buffs, WW II enthusiasts, or anyone interested in Cryptography or early computing.

A great experience if you're interested in the history of WWII and how Bletchley Park played a major role in cracking the German Enigma coded messages. I would recommend getting the free audio guide from the entrance building, go straight to the Mansion House and follow the map and buildings back to the entry/exit building. The grounds are beautiful, there are cafés you can take a break at anytime or you could even take a picnic on a nice day and sit at the picnic tables around the lake. You don't have to read everything or even listen to the whole guide, you can break it up at your leisure. There are interactive parts in several of the buildings to suit both adults and younger visitors too. There's a play park for young kids but most of the visit would not interest them. Very educational for 10s and over, in fact there were several school groups there when we went. A special mention to the team in the NRC radio building who were only too happy to explain and demonstrate the equipment in there. I even dabbled with a bit of morse code and sending my voice into outer space. The whole team right from the entry gatehouse to the exit gift shop were friendly throughout. The whole experience could be from a couple of hours to a whole day depending on how much you wanted to take in, we were there about 4 hours including a lunch break. We bought tickets online the day before which saves 10%
