Barnhill Bothy is a detached cottage in rural Dumfries and Galloway, three miles from Moffat. Everything is on the ground floor: a combined living and dining room with television, a kitchen with electric cooker and microwave, one double bedroom, and a shower room. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating and electricity. The property sleeps two and comes with private parking for two cars.
The kitchen is well set up for self-catering, with a fridge, washing machine and microwave alongside the cooker. Outside, there is an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The location suits walkers, with the Southern Upland Way nearby and local attractions including the Devil's Beef Tub and Grey Mare's Tail waterfall within reach. Moffat itself, known for its woollen mills and specialist shops, is a short drive away. The nearest pub and restaurant are three miles off.

Great place. Very comfortable with enclosed garden with bird feeder with plenty different birds visiting. Moffat area has plenty to do.

Absolutely 💯 be back. Just loved it. Hosts very nice and genuine. Place was Absolutely spotless. Summertime here would be amazing. Tried to book.for later on in year but fully booked.

Fabulous one bed cottage. Set within the owner's grounds but you don't need feel that uour being overlooked as the view from the lounge and conservatory look onto the wooded garden and start of the Moffat hills. The Bothy has everything you need from dish cloths to wash powder hairdryer to books and DVD. Lovely soft towels and comfy bed Really dog friendly (we have 3) enclosed garden so they can run free. Elaine and family very friendly and approachable but not intrusive. Can't wait to go again

Both cottages, the Bothy and the Mews are beautiful. The fittings are immaculate and the grounds are well maintained. They are off the main road but not too far away from Moffat. Love it here 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
