Broomlands Cottage comes ready for a self-catering stay, with the essentials covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, plus logs for the wood burner. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and separate freezer. A washer dryer sits in the utility room. The living room centres on an open fire, the kind you can actually use, and there's a 42-inch Smart TV for quieter evenings. Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a double bed, one with two singles. The bathroom has a shower cubicle and heated towel rail.
Everything sits on one floor, accessed via two steps. The property is yours alone, with space outside too—a large enclosed garden with patio and furniture, and parking for four cars on site. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside. From here, the surrounding countryside opens up: Moffat lies a couple of miles away with shops and cafés, while walkers can reach numerous routes through the Southern Uplands, and the Grey Mares Tail waterfall is a short drive off. The local area also reaches towards the Dumfries and Galloway coastline.
