Farm Holidays - Lime Tree Lodge

Lime Tree Lodge is a single-storey detached property with everything on the ground floor and direct access to an enclosed front garden. It sleeps two in a kingsize bed, with a shower room and open-plan living and dining space. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, and there's a smart TV with Netflix, an electric fire, and patio doors onto the garden where you can sit outside.

One medium or large dog, or two smaller ones, stay without extra charge. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included in the rate. There's private parking for two cars. The lodge overlooks open countryside with views towards the Galloway Hills, though it's only minutes by car from Castle Douglas, a market town with shops and restaurants. Walking routes begin from the property itself—there's a popular five-mile circular walk that takes you into town and back along quiet roads. The wider area offers beaches, cliff walks, forests, gardens including the National Trust's Threave, and activities from sailing and fishing to golf and riding.
