Forest Lodge

Forest Lodge is a two-bedroom cottage on a single level, a mile from the coast near Kippford. Everything you need for self-catering is provided: the kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine, while central heating and electricity are covered in the rental. Bed linen comes as standard. One bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), the other two singles (3ft each), and there's a shower room with a cubicle shower. The open-plan living space combines a lounge with dining and kitchen areas, all arranged to flow together. Outside, an enclosed garden and parking for two cars complete the setup.

The property sleeps four and accepts one pet. An enclosed patio means outdoor space without leaving the grounds. The woodland location is quiet, though the coast is close enough for a short walk—this part of Dumfries and Galloway has sandy beaches and coastal paths, including the Jubilee Path between Kippford and Rockcliffe. The area benefits from a temperate climate and attracts visitors to its small Victorian resorts and seaside villages. No smoking indoors. A cot and highchair can be arranged if needed.
