Good room and breakfast, easy check in and out. Very nice lady that runs it! The accommodation was worth the price.

Positives Lady in charge friendly and served good breakfast. Negatives Tired decor. Noisy plumbing, mold in shower and worst of all loud music and noisy customers in bar until after 3am. Sleep impossible. Worst hotel stay ever.

First impressions old pub old rooms friendly greeting . Central location and surprisingly quiet except for sea chicken chorus in the morning . Breakfast fantastic ,bed didn't want to get up and powerful shower 👍liked my stay and Sue the owner ran me to the station when I couldn't get a taxi . Gave me all I wanted for my stay and although not a 5 star hotel it was worth every bit of the 5 star rating I gave it

The room was clean and tidy and bedding was clean. A little bit noisy from the bar below and noisy plumbing. Perhaps the earplugs provided in the tea tray were a hint. staff and breakfast was lovely and I would stay again if I ever need a one night stay again.

Laid-back 1840s pub offering live music, plus simple rooms with free breakfast and bike storage.
