This is a great B&B. Good local in Dumfries. Convenient to train and Bused. The owners are such a great host. They make you feel right at home. I will return in the future. I highly recommend this place. I am usually skiddish about places but they are super welcoming.

The Lindean Guest House is by far the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed. The hosts, Sally and Ian are so wonderful and amazing and made us feel so welcome it was like staying at a friend's house. 5 stars is not enough to rate this experience. The house is beautiful, the rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable and the hosts are simply the best. Highly recommend and definitely hope to return.

I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay with Sally and Ian at the Lindean Guest house. It was everything and more than I could hope for. My room was lovely, the bed comfy, and the breakfast was delicious. Both Ian and Sally went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Their home was an easy 5 minute walk from the train station and ten minutes walk to the restaurants i wanted to visit. I will never forget their kindness during my two nights there.

Absolutely wonderful! We have stayed here many times and every stay has been fabulous. The house has a great location - quiet street but only a few minutes walk to the town centre and the house itself is beautiful with high ceilings, nice furnishings and attention to detail such as the wee treat boxes in the rooms with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. The rooms are well kitted out. Ian and Sally as hosts are absolute gems, genuinely warm, kind folk with good chat who make us feel so welcome. Breakfast is delicious - a wide menu with lots of choice including smoked salmon, a breakfast burrito, omelette and the full cooked breakfast. I cannot recommend the Lindean enough - 10/10 every time!
