Mossknowe Escape

Dumfries and Galloway draws visitors for its rolling countryside and quiet villages. Mossknowe Escape is an annex on the grounds of a Georgian house near Kirkpatrick Fleming, set back from the main property with its own entrance and private garden. The space spreads across three floors and sleeps six in three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.

Ground floor has a sitting room with a wood burner and Smart TV, plus a separate toilet. The kitchen and dining area occupy the first floor, fully equipped for cooking with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. A kingsize bedroom with shower en-suite is also on this level. Upstairs are two more bedrooms: one with a super kingsize bed and a bathroom with bath and shower, the other with twin beds and a shower en-suite. All three bathrooms have heated towel rails. Electricity, heating oil, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with initial fuel for the wood burner and a welcome pack.

The enclosed front garden has a sitting area and furniture, and a private hot tub seats all six guests. There are two steps within the garden. Parking is available for three cars. No smoking throughout the property. This suits families or groups wanting separate spaces and their own kitchen, and works well for exploring the area's coastal towns, forests and quiet villages nearby.
