What visitors say
Lovely little campsite. Communicated well and told us our pitch in advance of arrival, friendly staff and love that they play music in the bathrooms throughout the day! Dog friendly with a great area by the river and through the woods to take them. Highly recommend for a stopover if heading north or, a short break away. No nearby shops but a discount off food in the pub was given to us. Clean and tidy.

I stayed here for two nights in a camper van in February. It was a cold wintery wet stay. The shop was shut the whole time and the kitchen sinks had no water either. The toilets were open and had hot water. Only one drinking water tap was working properly. It is within easy reach of Bruce’s cave. I imagine in the open season it is very popular. The nearby Station pub is the highlight for the best Sunday roast ever. Worth a visit in spring or summer.

Some of the best facilities I've seen at a campsite, it felt like I was just using my bathroom at home. The area is tidy and there is playparks for kids. The village nearby has a pub which serves very good food and nice pints.
