Pleacairn Cottage

Dumfries and Galloway has castles, abbeys and ruins within reach, plus a coastline five miles away. The 7Stanes mountain biking network is on the doorstep, and a pub sits half a mile down the road. Fishing on the River Annan and several golf courses are nearby. Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Lake District are all within an hour's drive.

Pleacairn Cottage is a converted dairy on a small holding, set back from a quiet village. Everything is on the ground floor: a combined living and dining space with a woodburner, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and a bedroom with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial logs for the fire. The cottage comes with private parking for two cars and a bike store. One dog is welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times. No smoking inside.

The enclosed courtyard overlooks open countryside. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The property is yours alone for the duration of your stay.
