Had an enjoyable stay at the Ferintosh Guest House. It’s a really interesting place to stay and is packed full of character. Robertson is an excellent host, very engaging and always happy to help. Breakfast is a particular highlight and stacks up very well against any high end hotel I have stayed in. The location is great, it’s only a 5 min walk to any part of central Dumfries. Really enjoyed my visit and very much looking forward to my next stay there!

We had a great stay at the Ferintosh. It was a perfect location for us travelling by train and within easy walking distance of the town. Robertson was a perfect host, welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and the house has great character. The breakfast was delicious too. This was the perfect place and we were so pleased we picked it.

Warm, cosy rooms. Very clean. Everything supplied for your stay including fluffy face towels and toiletries. Excellent breakfasts and warm hospitality too. Marvellous host. Great location for visiting the town. Most enjoyable stay. Had a great view of the railway station and enjoyed people watching. Surprisingly quiet even though it's on a busy road.

It's a lovely place to stay. Robertson was extremely friendly and accommodating. I stayed at the start of July and I'm booked to stay the end of July. The location is perfect as its next to the train station. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. Pet friendly and great value for money. Would definitely recommend.
