Everything you need for a large group is already here at Woodhayne Farm. The property sleeps 18 across nine bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and television. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and coffee machine all present. The ground floor is given over entirely to an open-plan living space with wood burner, comfortable seating and a substantial dining table; doors open onto a lawned garden with patio and gas barbecue.
The setting is a working farm in the Blackdown Hills, near Chard in East Devon, with the character that brings but the practical comforts of modern life. Parking for six cars sits on site. A hot tub for eight is private to the property. One dog or cat can stay at no extra cost. The property is yours alone—no other guests, no shared facilities.
This works for large families gathering together, groups of friends, or anyone marking an occasion that needs space for everyone. Smoking is not permitted inside.

We absolutely love this place. We’ve just returned from our second trip to Woodhayne Farm and it was even more fabulous than the first time we went. Lizzi goes out of her way to make your trip extra special and she’s so accommodating. We made full use of the private hot tub and enjoyed a beautiful country view early in the morning and a fairy lit garden in the evening. Everything is finished to a brilliant standard and feels so homely at the same time. We’ve rebooked to go again in the winter and can not wait. Thank you for making our stay so special.

I can’t fault woodhayne farm on anything, it’s absolutely wonderful. The beds are comfy , there’s plenty of space , the kitchen is packed with everything you’d need , a glass for every drink !! The hot tub is wonderful and even though dogs have stayed with other guests, it doesn’t smell at all of dogs. It’s fresh and very clean . I would love to come back again and I would definitely recommend
