Just joined this gym as an addition to my London fields lido membership and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of good equipment as the images online don’t do it justice. Also got a very in depth tour from a very decent guy called Chris. Thank you, keep doing what you do.

The only good thing about this gym is that it’s close to my house. Other than that, my experience has been very disappointing. Here are the main issues: Unreliable opening hours: The gym doesn't always open on time. There have been several mornings where it opened 30 minutes late, which completely ruins my schedule. Outdated and broken equipment: The machines are old and scratched up. Worse, many weights are missing their labels, so I have absolutely no idea what weight I’m setting on the machines because the numbers are gone. There is also a severe shortage of equipment—for instance, there are only 2 metal bars for 5 different cable machines, which is honestly ridiculous. The battle ropes are fraying, greasy, and completely unusable. Awful smell and lack of cleanliness: The entire first floor smells like a restroom. The toilet floor itself smells unbearably bad due to crystallized urine; a simple bottle of Harpic could easily fix this, but it seems it's never properly cleaned. Dust and poor ventilation: Dust is everywhere—on and under the machines. When group classes train on the second floor (jumping or boxing), they kick up so much dust that it becomes genuinely hard to breathe downstairs. I really wanted to like this place because of the location, but the lack of basic hygiene and equipment maintenance makes it impossible to enjoy my workouts. They seriously need to step up their cleaning and management.

Very good facilities. Impressed overall. Kids loved it! Spacious changing room, clean all round and also they have parking.

Swimming Party Yesterday, I attended a swimming party at Leyton Leisure Centre with my dad, my older brother, Keshan and some of our friends from the Catholic Fellowship(a group my brother's a part of) we all had an amazing time. It was a really fun experience, and everyone enjoyed themselves. I want to give a special thank you to Annshka(staff member of the day), who was so kind, polite, and helpful throughout our visit. My brother recognised her from last year, but it was my first time meeting her. I had forgotten to bring my goggles, and she offered to give me some. But she was so happy to see my brother and so happy to meet me and we got to know each other and she was just so much fun and brought joy. I'd also like to thank the rest of the team. Everyone was friendly, patient, and welcoming. the Catholic Fellowship includes many people with disabilities, and it was lovely to see how supportive and understanding the staff were with everyone. Overall, I can't say a single negative thing about our experience. We had a brilliant time, and I would definitely recommend Leyton Leisure Centre to others. 10/10 Kareem Beckett-Edwards
