Beach Retreat

Couples and small families will find Beach Retreat works well as a self-contained base near the Norfolk-Suffolk border. The two-bedroom lodge sits on the clifftop at Corton, with direct access via bi-fold doors to a decked area where you can eat outside and watch the sea. Both bedrooms have kingsize beds and their own bathrooms—one with a shower cubicle, one with a bath and shower. Everything is on the ground floor, reached by five steps to the entrance.

The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave; the living room holds a TV and electric woodburner. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One small dog can stay free. The property provides private parking for two cars and a welcome pack; note that smoking is not permitted indoors.

A path leads down from the property to the sandy beach. The location is secluded within woodland on Ocean Glade, yet close enough to walk to the shore and within minutes of the Norfolk border.
