Owl Cottage

Owl Cottage sits on one level in Jevington, a village at the edge of the Cuckmere Valley within the South Downs National Park. The cottage has two bedrooms—a kingsize and a single—one bathroom, and a shower room. Everything is arranged on the ground floor: an open-plan living and dining space, a kitchen with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine, and direct access to an enclosed patio. One small to medium dog can stay at no extra charge, making it a straightforward option for people travelling with a pet.

Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. There is on-site parking. The location works well for walking or cycling—the Seven Sisters cliffs, Beachy Head, and Cuckmere Haven beach are all within a short drive. Eastbourne is 4 miles away; Hastings, Rye and Brighton are further afield. A tea room and pub are within walking distance, with shops 2¼ miles from the door. The cottage is available to couples and families only; children under 5 cannot be accommodated, and smoking is not permitted.
