I just happened to find this place on a Google Search. It turned out to be an amazing experience and an outstanding location. First off, the host and concierge are incredible gracious hosts, helping us every step of the way, with very responsive communications. The locations are central to Edinburgh New Town and nearby some amazing restaurants. There are three close by for terrific breakfasts. I would recommend Cote as the best. Some warnings - You have to be able to do steps - 2-3 floors up to room levels. Also, rooms are not air conditioned, which is not typically an issue, but one worth being aware of. Rooms in the back have some noise from the side streets when trash is collected. We had zero complaints, and would stay here again.

Great size room in a good location. My mother had a medical incident while we were travelling and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. There are a lot of stairs though FYI.

We've stayed here for a long weekend and location was absolutely perfect, 4 min walk to Princess Street and multiple cafes, restaurants and pubs in the area. Check in was super easy and the room was clean and comfortable. However, next to us (room no 3) was a separated bathroom, belonging to a different room and you can hear everything. It can get quite noisy outside so it would also be a nice touch if the hotel provided ear plugs for the light sleepers.

The room was fantastic — stylish, spotless, full of natural light, with very comfortable mattresses and plenty of space. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Edinburgh, within walking distance of all major attractions (we didn’t need to use public transport at all). The neighborhood was excellent, with a great atmosphere and a wide variety of quality options for food and drinks. The only thing we felt was missing was a small fridge in the room — it would have been a very practical addition. Also, the room gets a lot of sunlight and could feel a bit warm during the day. This wasn’t a problem for us, as most days were cloudy and there was a small fan available. However, on sunnier days, it might be something to consider.
