First impression was what have we done!! Turned out this is just Scotland!! We arrived early and no check in desk just a key box. You can’t get here early. At 3pm we got the key to room 14. Boy were we wrong. Room was great, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a great size. Let’s talk about the location. If you’re going to muarryfields for a concert this is the place to stay. We were back in the room in no time after the band played. Great to get around Edinburgh. Edinburgh is expensive but this is a feast budget place to stay.

Thank you for hosting us. It was absolutely nice to stay at the place. The location was best with quiet environment and the view from the room was the star. The house was bit old but no complain it was spacious. Will definitely stay here if we ever come back. Thank you

Did what it was meant to do, which is provide a place to rest your head after a day of sight-seeing. A little cramped, but manageable. Clean, but not sparkling. A little outdated. TV did not work properly, but staff tried to fix it. Shower was confusing; water temp not adjustable. We were fine (3 ppl, all adults) but others may not be. 10 min walk from shopping and cuty centre activities. Close to tour bus stops and public transportation. 15 min from airport.

This place gives the façade of being a cute and cozy B&B but it’s quite the opposite. It was dingy, there’s no onsite staff, the house needs extensive renovating and there are stains on the carpets and a strange smell throughout. Thankfully it was just a place to sleep for one night, but even that was disrupted by another guest entering our room at 3am, which was scary and unnerving and quite the shock to us all for a middle of the night encounter. Either our room was double booked, or the keys work for several rooms which is just poor service. I will say that upon close inspection the bed sheets and bathroom were clean, and when there were no keys in the Bluetooth lockbox the host was quickly responsive in finding a solution. I don’t like to give negative reviews but unfortunately we just can’t recommend this place, our stay was far from comfortable and cozy as I had expected from the pictures.
