A beautiful building, great interiors. We had a cosy double room which although small was lovely, great bathroom too. Breakfast is good although I didn't need or want the "platter" that comes with every breakfast, so wasteful. The only negative is the appalling background music that plays in all the communal rooms - hated it, I feel so sorry for the staff too. Also the room fragrance in the reception room was like walking into a Lush soap shop, not nice. All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I would happily stay there again.

A very cozy and beautiful hotel in a castle. Everything is impeccably clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was magnificent. I especially want to note the excellent service. The people who work at the hotel are very welcoming and responsive. It was my birthday. They gave me a shamanic gift, a cake, and a card. They also prepared a huge vase for my bouquet. All requests were fulfilled immediately, without any waiting. The room has an iron and even an ironing board. This is truly amazing and cool. The best impressions of my stay at the hotel. The location is excellent.

It is very nice hotel with convenient parking, we book for just a night, our room was just next to the bar on the ground floor and I was very worried it would be noisy, but it wasn't. I slep very well and I am happy with the hotel, it is pet friendly, providing beds, bowls, treats and even towels for the dogs. Bathroom is very spacious, a little bit cold, I would prefer to be warmer in the Bathroom. Breakfast was okay, would prefer more vegan options, but for 1 or 2 nighs is great even with the provided options. Building is very beautiful.

Absolutely incredible experience at the Scott! We were warmly welcomed by the most wonderful manager, I believe her name was Emma. Or Emily? Sorry. I don’t remember but she left such a lovely impression on us. The hotel is gorgeous. We appreciated the fine details and decor. Very clean and comfortable beds. Stunning bathrooms. If we ever go back to Edinburgh, we will certainly be staying at the Scott. We were so very pleased with our stay! Thank you for an experience we’ll never forget.
