What diners say
As a Malaysian, I can honestly say Malaysia Boleh really nailed the authentic Malaysian flavours. You can tell the kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing, especially when it comes to wok hei. The Wat Tan Hor was absolutely incredible — the wok hei was strong and aromatic, and the gravy was dangerously addictive. One bite and you genuinely CANNOT stop eating. Easily one of the best versions I’ve had outside Malaysia. The chicken satay was another standout. The meat was juicy, flavourful, and perfectly grilled, while the peanut sauce was rich, fragrant, and seriously addictive. Their newly introduced Nasi Lemak Fermented Bean Curd Fried Chicken is an absolute killer dish. The fried chicken itself deserves special mention — crispy, juicy, packed with flavour, and honestly so good that it tastes amazing even without the fragrant pandan coconut rice. Another new dish we tried was the “Drunken Chicken”, served cold with a very strong wine flavour. The chilled serving actually makes the wine taste stand out even more, giving it a bold and unique flavour profile that’s quite memorable. On top of the food, the staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the visit. The atmosphere was lively and comfortable, and for those who enjoy outdoor seating, they have that available too. Definitely a place I’ll return to whenever I’m craving proper Malaysian food in London.

Absolutely loved the Fermented Bean Curd Fried Chicken! The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with a unique savoury flavour from the fermented bean curd that made it stand out from ordinary fried chicken. It was perfectly seasoned and seriously addictive. We also enjoyed the satay, which was tender and smoky, served with a rich and flavourful peanut sauce. Every dish was fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Malaysian food in London, Malaysia Boleh is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back again! 🇲🇾❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible lunch at Malaysia Boleh! From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. Our server Chin was warm, attentive and genuinely took the time to get to know us and share what makes the restaurant so special. Everyone really is treated like family here. The food was outstanding. The chicken satay and fried lotus root were a great start, but the vegetarian laksa was the star of the show and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Creamy, perfectly spiced, fresh crispy veg and noodles cooked to perfection. The tearamisu (a Malaysian twist on tiramisu made with pulled tea) was the perfect ending. Incredible value for money and such an authentic celebration of Malaysian food and culture. We will absolutely be back!!

The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the meal while we were there. There were five of us sharing the dishes, but unfortunately three of us developed symptoms of food poisoning afterwards, including diarrhoea and fever. We wanted to make you aware so you can look into it and ensure food safety. We hope this was an isolated incident.
