What diners say
Such a cute place and randomly fantastic prices for what you get, £4.50 beer and 2 for £12 espresso martinis during happy hour or a Sunday. The cocktails are phenomenal for chocolate lovers but they also do the usuals as well. A great place for a treat or a catch-up after work. Sorry we didn't get the best pics but the menu is amazing. And lovely people working there too.

🍫The chocolate cocktail club🍸 📍 Farringdon, London On my last trip down to London, I was kindly invited down to @thechocolatecocktailclub to try out some of their amazing creations and I have to say I was impressed 👏 🤔 Initially I thought 3 chocolate cocktails would be too heavy and I’d be done in after 1 but I am so pleased that I was wrong. I loved each one that I tried and would order all of them again! 🥳 We ordered: 🍓 Shamazing strawberry 🔺Toblerone 👑 Caramel king x2 🥜 The Ferrero ☕️ The tipsy tiramisu 💕 Each one had something different going on. From chocolate sprinkled rims, chocolates pieces in the drink and strawberries on top, I loved how they looked. 🥰 I think my favourite was the tipsy tiramisu, but it was very hard to pick one because they were all so good. 🍰 They also do an afternoon tea with the most gorgeous looking sandwiches and cakes. The perfect sweet treat to overindulge in!! What are you waiting for?? Get yourself booked in 👏 🍫 Which one would you try?? The cocktails tried were very good. Booked through Design My Night (has a service fee), though we were in the area earlier than the timed ticket and they were happy to seat us. It was around 8:30pm on a Friday and the place was quiet - only around 3 tables occupied. “Ticket” includes a cocktail off of a list of perhaps 5 (basic) options. We also ordered off the seasonal, Easter menu as I had wanted to try the bunny cocktail ever since it appeared on my social media timeline. These were beautifully made and excellent fun, they also tasted great quality. I half expected them to taste a little watered down or poor quality, but they were very good and not that expensive compared with other places in London. The vibe of the place made me a little sad, almost. It felt very designed for social media and therefore a bit, predictable somehow? And I actually think the cocktails could speak for themselves and are enough in their own right without that. Playlist was great and fun/upbeat (think Britney, Queen type vibes) but added to the sad feeling as it suited a more lively place. Am I fair in saying it gives off a sort of gimmicky atmosphere, but is underselling itself with the quality of the cocktails it can offer? Maybe that’s the sort of “disconnect” I felt overall. Cocktails tried - - Chocotini (served with a rolo) - Chocolate espresso martini - The Fab-ulous (Easter special) - The “Bunny” (Easter special) Service was fine, not exceptional but not terrible.
