What visitors say
Visited Vue Cinema London - North Finchley recently to watch Dhurandhar 2. The cinema is located in a building that feels like a small mall, with coffee shops, a bookstore, and supermarkets like Aldi, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose. The cinema itself is on the top floor, and you can reach it easily by escalator or lift. The overall space feels open and spacious. Food options are available, prices can range roughly between £8 to £25 per person depending on what you order. There are many screens (around 10–12). I watched the movie in Screen 5, which was quite basic. Some seats were worn out, with the leather coming off, and they felt quite rigid and not very comfortable. Also, there didn’t seem to be proper air conditioning or ventilation inside. The washrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly. The location is convenient as there’s a bus stop right in front of the building, and Finchley Underground station is also nearby. Overall, it’s a decent place for a casual movie, but the seating and comfort could be improved.

The screen size is simply perfect! However, one point leaves much to be desired: the overall cleanliness of the cinema, not only inside the theaters but also in the reception area and entrances. There's a lot of trash and food on the floor. With better supervision, the cinema could potentially be a 10/10.

Right, I've been a loyal supporter of this cinema for a while now. By my count, that's 56 screenings and 98 tickets over the past two years. Ordinarily, the place has its share of the usual problems: understaffed, unclean screens and toilets, and antisocial behaviour that goes unchecked because there's no security and little effort to keep things civil. Welcome to London in 2026. We put up with it for the convenience, the cheap tickets, and, as of today (07/07/2026), what was meant to be a premium experience in the new screens that opened this morning. Because we love cinema, liked this Vue, and wanted to try the new screens while everything was still fresh and the refurbishment ongoing, we booked in. Instead, we had the most intolerable and, frankly, terrifying experience I've ever had in a cinema. We were seated in F3/F4 (sold as Ultra Lux) in Screen 12 for The Invite at 7:50, auditorium full. The pair in F1/F2 were loud, drinking and chatting, but nothing we couldn't live with. Then, midway through the film, three people came in, sat down in F6/F7/F8, and began having sex in the auditorium. The drunk lad in F2 stepped in, a brawl broke out, and we were forced to leave in a hurry. As I said, I've supported this venue for a long time, I just want a straight answer: what exactly is Vue Finchley Road's plan, alongside this refurbishment, to guarantee security, basic decency, and competent management going forward? (See other all other reviews for reference) I'll be contacting a member of your team directly to share the full account of how the opening day of your new screens actually went. Police will also be made aware of the incident. And if you're thinking of bringing your kids to see Toy Story or Minions here this summer, for the love of god, don't.

I attend this Vue VERY regularly - almost on a weekly basis. I am very upset as it’s currently totally inaccessible and you are forced to pay extortionate prices for the small luxe screens. They’ve got rid of all of the budget seating options unless you’re in the main screen. I’m not sure with the maintenance work if they will be reopening big screens with the range of pricing options (but I hope they do). On top of this, if I am going to pay more for a service I would hope it was clean and tidy which is not the case. But my main issue is with the volume in the large screen… I went a few weeks back to see the new minions film and the sound was horrific. It was SO loud, we could not concentrate at all. A kind person left the cinema twice to ask staff to turn it down but it didn’t make a difference. Not just this, but people started strolling in for the next film before ours was done?! And telling others that people were sitting in their seats. Vue Finchley Road has lost a very loyal customer I am afraid.

People say this cinema offers good value for tickets, has many screens, and staff members like Angelos, Jasmine, and Eli provide friendly and helpful service.
Other reviews mention the venue can be poorly maintained and have rodent issues.
