We got here, just as it had opened. We were therefore the only people in our screen, watching a film. I know London prices are steep but paying £56 for 2 cinema tickets, a medium popcorn & Coke was insane. Yes, the reclining seats were comfy but just the same as those in conventional Vue cinemas. Admittedly, there was a great deal of leg room however. Sadly, the salted popcorn was pretty bland & not worth the money. More worringly were the toilets. The Ladies just smelled strongly of TCP / distenfectant but the Mens were apparently over-run by flies!!

Odeon Luxe is very barebones of an experience with a quiet staff, kind but very low energy for the business. The kiosk to order items from is mounted very low as if to only serve at child’s height. And the prices are higher than ever need to be for the concessions. The film selection and time slots are great I just feel this was a skeleton-like experience that could be great! However, good things do happen here. The online experience was easy to get tickets and we had a great choice of seats and I thought it was wonderful for replacing my champagne that had gone-off. I really appreciate that and know that I will be back to watch films here no matter what.

Came here to give the IMAX screen a go. It wasn't amazing but it was good enough! For IMAX you'd expect better. The screen is pretty big but it's definitely not extraordinary, a bit of the bottom is blocked off from railings. Because of the way it's laid out there's only a few seats with a decent view which can make it hard to find a good booking if you actually want to see the movie. Seats are very comfortable! Even more advanced reclining with 4 different buttons so you can control the leg rest and back separately. Plenty of leg room, too. Luckily, I have limitless so I only paid £5 but probably not worth it full price. There wouldn't be much difference with just going to a normal cinema with a big screen. I'd probably only come here if I really wanna experience big franchise movies on a big screen, never for casual viewings.

Update: it has been a month since my official complaint on Odeon’s website and here. Despite the below acknowledging my complaint and giving the impression they are actioning remedies, nothing has been done. My partner who I went to see the film with also had negative review deleted multiple times. This company clearly does not care about its customers and want to give a false impression of taking responsibility Bought 2 tickets to see the Avatar Fire & Ash in 3D IMAX, along with 3D glasses. About 15minutes into the film, it suddenly malfunctioned with no picture or red/green picture (see photos) for about 10 minutes. The 3D film then played as 2D for the remainder of the 3.5hours film. No staff came out to explain, apologise at the time and all the staff disappeared when the film was finished. This is a complete shambles of customer experience and I have made a complaint and asked for a refund. Obviously anyone would know people pay the much higher price for the 3D IMAX tickets and glasses to see Avatar expecting to get what they paid for, but the experience was a complete disaster. Posting this complaint here to help ensure the corporates take action on my official complaint on their website - in the meantime a warning for all to avoid this place and just watch films on streaming in the comfort of your home
